His career

A graduate of the Ecole Normale Superieure and the Ecole des Mines de Paris, Thierry de Mazancourt began his career in 1984 as inspector of nuclear installations in the French Ministry of Industry.
In 1988, he joined the French Ministry of Economy and Finance (Treasury Department) as deputy head of staff for “Interests of the State in the area of ​​capital goods” and then became Head of ” Financial Protocols”.
In 1993, he became  an advisor to the French Prime Minister in the field of industrial affairs, research and the environment.
In 1995 he joined Labinal as CEO of the Filtrauto  division then, Alcatel in 2000 as CEO of Alcatel Contracting.
In 2002 he was chief of staff of the Minister delegated for Research and Higher Education, François Loos, and continued to work alongside him at the Ministry of Foreign Trade as Project Officer until March 2004.
In March 2004 he joined the Snecma Group as Deputy Group Managing Director in charge of strategy and development and then as director of strategic studies for the Safran group.
In July 2007, he was appointed delegated Managing Director when the subsidiary Sagem Sécurité was created.
In September 2010 he was appointed CEO of Safran Consulting.
