The participation of Nolwenn Le Ster was within the framework of the « Careers UV » in November 2010 when she was invited to describe her professional experience to final-year engineering students.

After spending her 4th semester in Munich, followed by a gap year in Singapore, then a 3rd year major in « Signal and Image» , Nolwenn was hired as a sales engineer at Spie Communications. After a year she was appointed to a post of regional consultancy and architecture. Currently, she manages the development of offers for the company. She has to guarantee cohesion between the field and the strategy of the Spie Communications branch and also oversee business intelligence. Nolwenn, who is dynamic and ambitious, has undertaken to gain expertise and to build up her professional experience. She said « The strongest assets of the training we receive at Télécom Bretagne are : a broad-spectrum technological culture, the capacity to adapt and the will to learn about other cultures. »
After she had described her professional evolution, Nolwenn Le Ster gave the students some advice on how to best define their professional project according to their personality, their geographic mobility and their aspirations. Her motto: “Dare to go for it, be ambitious!”
Regular information about former students’ career experience makes it easier for final-year students to understand which careers are open to them. There are many jobs accessible to our young graduates: business manager specialised in technique and customer service, project manager, contract manager, bid manager …
